You are what you digest!


You are what you eat should really be taken literally.
However, let’s be straightforward here, most of what we eat is for the purpose of pleasure not nutrition.
Yes, I urge people to educate themselves on a healthier more balanced diet.
Yes, I urge us all to switch our diets away from trash and towards a green kingdom.
Unfortunately, realistically the probability of us all becoming raw food eaters and achieving supreme superhuman health is very, very low.

So what to do? Give up all together? Live contently with a full unhealthy belly? If that was possible this article wouldn’t even be written.

I understand the fact that the discipline that a raw food eater has is close to impossible for most human beings, especially when you have been conditioned by society your whole life. However, there is a way out my friends.

So maybe we really are what we eat.
I love oranges. I want to be pretty like an orange. I want to be a healthy orange.

So does that mean I can only eat oranges? This is where things get complicated.
Why? Because I love ice cream too, and believe me my friends, I don’t want to be ice cream.
Let’s revamp that famous line then, “You are what you eat,” into something with less pressure,
“You are what you digest.”

We actually literally become what we digest. Our bodies don’t assimilate all we eat nutritionally. You can eat an orange, I can eat the same orange, but we can assimilate it completely different.

Forget the overwhelming pressure of trying to make everything you eat into the best and healthiest you can find. Make eating a pleasure again. The name of the game is food combination.

Our main goal is to combine the right foods together for the best digestion and assimilation as possible. Foods are rated as alkaline or acidic. We can continue to eat the things we want and achieve health if we change our view of food combinations. Follow the food combing rules of alkalinity and acid forming and be literally transformed into a new state of being.

Along with the knowledge of food combination, learn to supplement yourselves with digestive enzymes as well and you’ve got a home run!

Severe loss of digestive enzymes occur when food is altered by any form, a good example is cooking. Even a fresh fruit or vegetable once cut open and exposed to air begins its trajectory in enzyme depletion. Now be reasonable, don’t be paranoid. You don’t have to bite the apple still attached to its branch to achieve maxim health. The gift we have recieved from our modern times that should be noted is the large array and availability of concentrated superfoods and supplements that tremendously enhance our experience in our quest for our best.

Know that you have the power to enhance your health while still enjoying the act of eating. Embrace the rules of food combining and enzyme supplementation and transform yourself into, “You are what you digest!”
